This is important!
In a day when there is so much bad news, it is easy to jump on the gloom and doom band wagon. This is not the spirit from which we pray. We, as the people of God, are to be the children of light.
Our “prayer posture” is that of sons and daughters of righteousness who are a royal priesthood. As priest, we stand before God on behalf of our nation, and cry out for mercy and grace. We also have the responsibility to represent God to our nation.
